Approaching with Care and Expertise

We liaise closely with all those involved to offer tangible, wide-ranging, and effective outcomes. Our clients matter to us at a personal level and keeping abreast of their progress is key. We maintain open lines of communication with all those concerned.
We are not affiliated to any school and act entirely independently.
The student is always our primary concern.

Tailored

Many clinics apply a very standardised approach to assessing learning needs or neurodiversity - assuming that all people with neurodiversity or specific learning difficulties are the same. We do not believe in a one-size fits all approach. We all have unique strengths and weaknesses, and our goal is to help clients find them and then support them to find practical solutions that will help them find their place in the world.

Holistic

Our approach focuses on using a full cognitive (neuro) assessment to help get to the root cause of the individual cognitive profile and then tailor specific recommendations to help that individual navigate school and beyond.

Sustainable

The assessment is merely the start of the journey - all too often, we find individuals have received a diagnosis and are sent on their way - we use the diagnostic assessment to create a tailored intervention plan and then work with multi-disciplinary teams (school, family and other professionals) to review and amend the plan as necessary to ensure the support is making a lasting impact on the individual.

Supportive

The ever-changing regulations and support for SEN can be a minefield for parents - Catriona’s extensive experience working as an Educational Psychologist for Local Authorities and as an expert witness for court tribunals means we are able to provide advice and support to parents to help them navigate the complex world of EHCPs, JCQ guidelines and working with SENCos to help ease the burden and reduce the stress for parents and carers of those with neurodivergence and specific learning needs.
