Neuro Assessment

We use an in-depth ‘Neuro’ assessment to get to the root cause of the learning difficulty. The neuro assessment is a formal evaluation of an individual’s cognitive and functioning. We use a range of assessments, tailored to the needs of the individual, including; The WISC (Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children) to assess verbal comprehension, visual-spatial skills, fluid reasoning, working memory, and processing speed; WIAT (measures performance across several academic domains, including reading, writing, mathematics, and oral language); specific literacy and handwriting assessments. We recommend the neuro assessment for most cases, even if ADHD/Autism is strongly suspected. This is to help us understand what is sitting at the root of the problem and to help identify specific interventions.

EHCP Assessment

We provide a full-service support for EHCP (Education Health and Care Plan) applications. We carry out a full assessment and can provide advice and guidance on the EHCP process. We have carried out over 300 EHCP assessments and understand the legal requirements to help ensure we can guide you through the complicated process.

Please note, we do not offer medication but if medication is recommended and you choose that option, we will send you back to your GP or can refer to an alternative private provider to prescribe medication.
